How to receive notifications about activity on Ethereum smart contracts

If you’re an Ethereum user, you’ve probably heard of Etherscan. It’s a popular blockchain explorer that allows users to view and analyze transactions on the Ethereum network. But did you know that Etherscan also offers notifications?

Notifications are a great way to stay up-to-date on your Ethereum transactions. With Etherscan, you can set up notifications for when your transactions are confirmed, when new blocks are mined, and more. Here’s how to get started with notifications on Etherscan.

First, create an account on Etherscan. Once you’ve done that, head over to the “Notifications” tab in the top menu bar. Here, you can select which type of notifications you want to receive. You can choose from transaction confirmations, new blocks mined, or both.

Next, enter the address of the wallet or contract that you want to receive notifications for. You can also enter multiple addresses if needed. Once you’ve entered all of your addresses, click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the page and your settings will be saved.

Now that your settings are saved, you will start receiving notifications whenever something happens with one of your addresses. You can also customize how often these notifications are sent out by selecting “Settings” in the top menu bar and then selecting “Notification Settings” from the dropdown menu. Here, you can choose how often (daily or hourly) and what time (in UTC) these notifications should be sent out.

That’s it! Now that you know how to get started with notifications on Etherscan, it should be easy for you to stay up-to-date on all of your Ethereum transactions and activities!

An alternative is using zeroxbob.com. It’s an app I wrote that monitors your smart contract addresses and sends you an email if anything happens, like an event is emitted or a transaction occurred. You can check it out here: zeroxbob.com
